Disengage front edge of the cover, then lower the center armrest.

Remove the inertia latch cover by pulling the cover rearward (Figure 1).
NOTE:
THE COVER IS EQUIPPED WITH A SLIT TO AID IN COVER REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION.

Slide the new inertia latch cover, p/n 04773419, onto the inertia latch arm.
7.
Raise the armrest, then engage the front edge of the Cover.

Install the lower strap into the center armrest's lower track (Figure 2). Slide back the armrest trim to visually confirm that the lower strap is
properly installed into the track.
9.
Slowly cycle the armrest to ensure that the strap moves freely in the track.
10.
Install the upper strap into the center armrest's upper track (Figure 3).
11.
Slowly cycle the armrest to ensure that the strap moves freely in the track.
12.
Secure the inertia latch cover with the screw and torque the screw to 4 Nm (35 in. lbs.).
