A/C Discharge Line - Removal
6.7L DIESEL ENGINE

Precautions/Warning and See: Service Precautions/Caution . Failure to follow these instructions may result in possible serious or
fatal injury.
1. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable.
2. Recover the refrigerant from the refrigerant system See: Service and Repair/Refrigerant System Recovery.
3. Remove the air filter housing.
4. Disconnect the wire harness connector from the A/C pressure transducer (1).
5. Remove the nut (3) that secures the A/C discharge line (2) to the condenser jumper line tapping block (4).
6. Disconnect the A/C discharge line from the condenser jumper line tapping block and remove and discard the O-ring seal and gasket.
NOTE: Illustration shown with lower radiator hose removed for clarity.
7. Remove the turbocharger outlet tube.
8. Remove the nut (1) that secures the A/C discharge line (4) to the A/C compressor (2).
9. Disconnect the A/C discharge line from the A/C compressor and remove and discard the O-ring seal and gasket.
10. Install plugs in, or tape over the opened discharge line fittings and the compressor and jumper line ports.
11. If necessary, remove the A/C pressure transducer from the A/C discharge line See: Refrigerant Pressure Sensor / Switch/Service and Repair/A/C
