Sprinter 2500 L5-2.7L DSL Turbo (2003)
17. Disconnect the heater control valve from the dash panel (Figure 10).
18. Disconnect the heater hoses at the heater core.
19. Disconnect the heater hose supports.
20. Remove the remaining vacuum hose clips and dash panel silencer pad retainers.
21. Remove and discard the original dash panel silencer pad.
22. Clean and remove any debris on the dash panel.
23. Install the new dash panel silencer pad into the vehicle engine compartment.
24. Connect the heater hoses and supports.
25. Install the dash panel silencer pad retainers and vacuum hose clips.
26. Connect the heater control valve to the dash panel (Figure 10).
27. Connect the left side heater hose bracket to the dash panel.
28. Connect the steering linkage at the steering gear. Tighten the pinch bolt to 18 ft. lbs. (24 N.m).
29. Install the brake booster into the vehicle (Figure 9). Tighten the mounting nuts to 221 in. lbs. (25 N.m).
30. Connect the brake master cylinder to the brake booster (Figure 9). Tighten the brake master cylinder nuts to 248 in. lbs. (28 N.m).
31. Connect the brake fluid level sensor wiring connector (Figure 9).
32. Install the air conditioning tube retaining bracket (Figure 9).
33. If equipped, connect the 12 volt feed wire located next to the brake booster.
34. Install the ground screw that holds multiple ground wires to the dash panel (Figure 9).
