STEP 5. Check the harness wires between driver's door switch connector D-13 and ETACS-ECU connector C-311.
NOTE: After checking junction block connector C-314, check the wires. If junction block connector C-314 are damaged, repair or replace it. Refer to
Harness Connector Inspection.

YES: Replace the ETACS-ECU. The driver's door switch input signal should be able to be checked and the functions, which are described in the
"Technical Description (comment)," should work normally.

STEP 6. Check passenger's door switch connector D-21 and ETACS-ECU connectors C-311 and C-313 for damage.
Q: Are front passenger's door switch connector D-21 and ETACS-ECU connectors C-311 and C-313 in good condition?
YES: Go to Step 7.
