OVERVIEW:
This bulletin involves reprogramming the Powertrain Control Module (PCM) with new software.

NOTE:
THIS INFORMATION APPLIES TO VEHICLES EQUIPPED WITH A 2.7L ENGINE (SALES CODE EES).
SYMPTOM/CONDITION:

Rough idle following a cold start. More prevalent in ambient temperatures of 10°C. to 21°C. (50°F. to 70°F.).

Engine speed flares or rough idle while slowing to a stop. May be attributed to an accessory load (power steering, A/C, or generator).
DIAGNOSIS:
If Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTC's) are present, record them on the repair order and repair as necessary before proceeding further with this bulletin. If
the condition(s) can be duplicated or are described by the customer, perform the Repair Procedure.

Flash the PCM using the MDS2 (Mopar Diagnostic System) and DRB III(R) (Scan Tool).
