Shock Absorber Replacement

Front

REMOVE 

1. Raise vehicle on jackstands or centered on a frame contact type hoist.
2. Remove front wheel and tire.

3. Remove the nut and bolt mounting shock absorber to mounting bracket on lower control arm.

4. Remove the nut and bolt attaching the shock absorber to the frame bracket.
5. Using a pry bar carefully push down on the upper control arm far enough to remove the top of the shock absorber from the frame bracket.
