Front Door Handle Switch: Description and Operation
CIRCUIT OPERATION
Interior Door Handle Switches
The interior door handle switches provide an input to the Remote Keyless Entry (RKE) module. Circuit P122 is used to provide the RKE module
with a right interior door handle signal. Circuit P96 is used for the right interior door handle latch/unlatch signal. And the G33 circuit is used for
the door unlatch driver.
For the left door circuit P123 is used for the left door interior door handle switch signal. The P97 circuit is used for the left interior door handle
latch/unlatch signal. And the G33 circuit is used for the door unlatch driver
Exterior Door Handle Switches
Power for the exterior door handle switches is supplied on circuit F35. This circuit is HOT at all times and protected by a 10 amp fuse located in
cavity 20 of the fuse block. Power for the fuse is supplied on circuit A5. This circuit originates at the Power Distribution Center (PDC), and is
protected by a 30 amp fuse located in cavity 19.
Circuit P125 provides the input from the left door switch to the Remote Keyless Entry (RKE) module. Circuit P124 provides the input from the
right door switch to the RKE module.
