Ignition Coil Capacitor

Removal

REMOVAL

1. Disconnect and isolate negative battery cable at battery.

2. Remove the intake manifold.See: Engine, Cooling and Exhaust/Engine/Intake Manifold/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Intake

Manifold - Removal

3. Disconnect the ignition capacitor (2) electrical connector.

4. Remove the sensor mounting bolt (1).
5. Remove the ignition capacitor (2) from the engine block (3).
