Insert the free end of clamp through the end of tool J-22716 and through the slot in the tightening nut of tool (Fig. 2). Allow at least 1/2-inch
of the clamp end to extend from the nut slot.

Install the socket and inch-pound torque wrench on the tightening nut of the clamp installer tool and tighten the large clamp to 65
inch-pounds (7 N-m) torque.
