d. Install upper plate (F) to lower plate (C) while aligning plates with the threaded rods (G).
e. Install attaching bolts (B, from tool Sus.1052.99) through adapter plate (F) and into original shock mounting plate (H). The upper plate (F)
has multiple mounting holes used for various Renault models. Install bolts (B) through holes stamped R-21.

Liberally apply clean oil to points indicated (J) as shown. The tool Sus.1052.99 is under extreme tension and oil application is necessary.
g. Using threaded rods (G), slowly compress the upper plate (F) approximately 0.393 inches.
h. Using a suitable Allen wrench, remove shock absorber locknut.
i.
Using the threaded rods (G), slowly remove all tension from coil spring.
