Brake Proportioning/Combination Valve: Service and Repair
With Antilock Brakes

Exploded View Of Proportioning Valve

REMOVAL 

1. Drain the brake fluid.
2. Remove link assembly mounting bolts.
3. Remove the brake lines.
4. Remove the proportioning valve.

INSTALLATION 

1. Follow removal procedure in reverse order, except as noted below.

2. Connect brake lines in order shown above referencing following points:

1. Left rear brake line.
2. Right rear brake line.
3. Hydraulic Unit.
4. Hydraulic Unit.

3. Fill master cylinder with brake fluid.
4. Bleed the brake system. See: Brake Bleeding
