Removal and Installation
  1. Location of the engine upper cover retaining clips.

  1. CAUTION:
    CAUTION:Care must be taken when releasing the fourth retaining clip and maneuvering the engine upper cover past the manifold absolute pressure (MAP) sensor. Failure to follow this instruction may result in damage to the MAP sensor.
    NOTE:
    NOTE:Remove the engine upper cover in the sequence shown.
    Remove the engine upper cover.

3. Remove the components in the order indicated in the following illustration(s) and table(s).

4. To install, reverse the removal procedure.

Installation Details

Item 3 : CMP sensor

CAUTION:
CAUTION:Make sure that the CMP sensor locating hole is free from foreign matter, before installing the CMP sensor. Failure to follow this instruction may result in incorrect installation of the CMP sensor and will not allow the engine to run.
