Remove the retaining clip and plate from the fan motor shaft. See Figure 14.

Remove the fan blade. See Figure 14.

Disconnect and remove the fan motor.

4.

Install the new fan motor. Be sure to center the motor on the shroud to prevent the blade from contacting the shroud. Tighten the screws to 7 Nm
(62 lb-in).

5.

Connect the fan motor.

6.

Install a new fan blade. Spin the blade to make sure the motor is properly centered so that the blade does not contact the shroud. If contact occurs,
loosen the motor attaching screws and adjust the motor as needed.

7.

Install the new retaining clip and plate, included in kit, onto the fan motor shaft.

8.

Proceed to Cooling Fan Assembly -- Installation.

DUAL COOLING FAN

NOTE:

On dual cooling fan applications, replace BOTH cooling fan motors and blades.

Disconnect the fan motors.

NOTE:

The fan motors and blades are removed as assemblies, but will be installed as separate components.
