Disconnect the battery ground cable. | | -
Detach the high - pressure tube support bracket. | | -
Detach the high - pressure tube. - Disconnect the power steering pressure (PSP) switch electrical connector.
- Detach the tube support bracket.
- Cut the three cable ties.

Disconnect the power steering pump supply hose. - Allow the fluid to drain into a suitable container.
| | -
Detach the coolant hose clamp. | | -
Detach the coolant expansion tank. - Position the tank to one side.

Using the special tool, remove the power steering pump pulley. | | -
Disconnect the power steering pump high - pressure tube union. - Allow the fluid to drain into a suitable container.

Remove the power steering pump. | Installation | -
NOTE:If a new power steering pump is to be installed, the unions that are supplied fitted to the pump should be removed and saved for future use. Using the special tool, install a new O - ring seal. - Push the new O - ring seal onto the special tool.
- Locate the tool over the union and ease the O - ring seal onto the union.

Install the power steering pump. | | -
Install the power steering pump high - pressure tube union. | | -
NOTE:Make sure the pulley is flush with the end of the pump shaft. Using the special tool, install the power steering pump pulley. | | -
Attach the coolant expansion tank. | | -
Install the coolant hose clamp. | | -
Connect the power steering pump supply hose. | | -
Install the high - pressure tube. - Install the PSP switch electrical connector.
- Install the tube support bracket.
- Install three new cable ties.

Install the high - pressure tube support bracket. | | -
Connect the battery ground cable. | | -
