Adjustment
NOTE:
The selector lever has its own detent mechanism. There is no need to hold it after engaging a gear.
Move the selector lever to position ``D".
Raise and support the vehicle. For additional information, refer to SectionÂ
100-02 Jacking and Lifting

Adjust the selector cable.
NOTE:
The marks line up in position ``D". It is not necessary to hold it after engaging a gear because it has its own detent mechanism.
Move the selector lever to position ``D".
Lock the selector cable adjusting cap.
Lower the vehicle.
