General Procedures

Adjustment
  1. NOTE:
    NOTE:The selector lever has its own detent mechanism. There is no need to hold it after engaging a gear.
    Move the selector lever to position ``D".
  1. Raise and support the vehicle. For additional information, refer to Section  100-02 Jacking and Lifting.

  1. Adjust the selector cable.
      NOTE:
      NOTE:The marks line up in position ``D". It is not necessary to hold it after engaging a gear because it has its own detent mechanism.
    1. Move the selector lever to position ``D".
    1. Lock the selector cable adjusting cap.
  1. Lower the vehicle.
