Wire Fitting Crimping Tool

  1. Remove the insulation from the two wire ends.

  1. Slide a piece of heat-shrink sleeving over one of the wire ends.

  1. Insert the stripped ends (1) in the crimp connector (2).

  1. NOTE:
    NOTE:When crimping a connector, make sure that the connector is the correct diameter for the wire and that a matching crimping tool is used. After crimping, test the joint by taking one wire in each hand and pulling.
    Make the connection with the crimping tool.

  1. NOTE:
    NOTE:Choose the length of the heat-shrink sleeving so that it extends over the cable insulation by about 15 mm on both sides.
    Slide the heat-shrink sleeving over the connection and heat it with a hot air blower until the sleeving fits closely around the connection and wax is coming out at both ends.
