Sleeve Position
3. When toe and the steering wheel spoke position are both correct, lubricate clamp, bolts and nuts. Tighten the clamp bolts on both front wheel
spindle tie rod adjusting sleeves to 27-30 Nm (20-22 ft. lbs.). The sleeve position should not be changed when the clamp bolts are tightened for
proper clamp bolt orientation.
Wheel Turning Angle
NOTE: If the turning angle does not measure to specification, check the front suspension lower arm and other suspension or steering parts for a bent or
loose condition.
The turning angle cannot be adjusted directly because it is a result of caster, camber and toe adjustments combined. Measure the turning angle only
after the toe adjustment has been made. When the inside wheel is turned 20°, turning angle of outside wheel should be 18.51°.

If the turning angle does not measure to specification, check the suspension, frame or steering parts for a bent condition.
