Removal and Installation
1. Release the cam plate actuating cable.
   Press the red button on the adjuster assembly.

2. Turn the throttle cam plate to the stop (kickdown position).
   An audible click can be heard when the adjuster assembly automatically adjusts the actuating cable.

3. The actuating cable must project beyond the adjuster assembly by at least 2 mm.
4. Check the kickdown position.
• Depress the accelerator pedal fully and fix it there.
• If the throttle cam plate can still be turned by hand, carry out Steps to
• Release the accelerator pedal.

5. If necessary, adjust the accelerator pedal.
   Pull out the accelerator pedal clip.

NOTE:

The throttle must not open, otherwise the idle speed will be too high.
6. Adjust the accelerator pedal (continued).
   Pull the accelerator pedal back by one notch.

7. Adjust the accelerator pedal (continued).
* Fit the accelerator pedal clip.
• Depress the accelerator pedal fully and check whether the throttle cam plate is completely open.
• Release the accelerator pedal and check whether the throttle cam plate has returned to its fully closed position.
