Removal and Installation

WARNING:

This procedure involves fuel handling. Be prepared for fuel spillage at all times and always observe fuel handling precautions. Failure to follow these instructions can result in personal injury.
Remove

CAUTION:

Disconnect the battery negative lead.

1. Disconnect the fuel return pipe and the vacuum pipe from the fuel pressure regulator.

2. Remove the fuel pressure regulator (two bolts).
Install

3. Refit the components in the reverse order.
• Fit a new fuel pressure regulator O‐ring seal.
• Lubricate the O‐ring seal with clean engine oil to aid installation.
