Anti‐seize greaseSAM‐1C‐9107A
Remove
1. Raise the vehicle and remove the undershield if fitted.

2. Remove bolts and springs from the catalytic converter flange joint.
   Discard the gasket and nuts.

NOTE:

If the catalyst is to be refitted, care must be taken not to damage the assembly, excessive force may damage the ceramic substrates.
3. Remove the catalytic converter.
   Discard the gasket and nuts.
Install

CAUTION:

Never use jointing compound forward of the catalytic converter.
4. Refit the components in reverse order.
• Coat the studs with anti‐seize grease.
• Use a new gasket and nuts where necessary.
