5. Pull down evenly and remove the transmission fluid filter, seal and filter kit.

6. Remove the converter housing access plug.

7. Remove the torque converter drain plug and drain the torque converter.

Rotate the crankshaft to access the drain plug.

8. Clean and inspect the (A) transmission fluid pan, the (B)pan gasket and the (C) magnet.
9. Flush the torque converter, cooler, and cooler lines. 

INSTALLATION 

1. Install the new torque converter drain plug.

NOTE:  A new torque converter drain plug must be installed.
