6. Install the Traction-Lok Clutch Gauge over the disc and clutch pack.
7. Install the nut.
8. Use Feeler Gauge and select the thickest blade that can be inserted between the tool and the differential clutch pack. The reading will be the
thickness of the new clutch shim.
9. Prelubricate each clutch disc and soak clutch friction plates for at least 15 minutes in Additive Friction Modifier C8AZ-19B546-A or equivalent
meeting Ford specification EST-M2C118-A.
