Measuring Front Disc Brake Hub And Rotor

Measure the front disc brake hub and rotor for minimum thickness.
^ Replace the front disc brake hub and rotor if not within specification (24.5 mm or 0.96 inch).

Remove the front disc brake caliper.
1. Remove the caliper slide pins.
2. Lift the front disc brake caliper off the front disc brake caliper anchor plate.

Inspect the disc brake caliper for leaks, if any are found, disassembly is required.

Remove the disc brake anti-rattle clips.
1. Remove the brake shoes and linings.
