SPECIAL SERVICE TOOL(S)
REMOVAL
1. Raise and support the vehicle. For additional information, refer to Maintenance/Service and Repair.
2. Remove the Heated Oxygen Sensor (HO2S).

Disconnect the electrical connector.

Using the special tool, remove the sensor.
INSTALLATION
1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
NOTE: Apply a light coat of High Temperature Nickel Anti-Seize Compound F6AZ-9L494-AA or equivalent meeting Ford specification
ESE-M12A4-A to the threads of the HO2S.
Rear LH Heated Oxygen Sensor (HO2S)

REMOVAL
1. Raise and support the vehicle. For additional information, refer to Maintenance/Service and Repair.
2. Disconnect the Heated Oxygen Sensor (HO2S) electrical connector.
