Remove the spring U-bolts. Refer to Figure 6.

Remove the U-bolt spring plate from the top of the spring. Refer to Figure 6.

Lower the rear axle enough to remove the spring.

Remove the spring spacer from the axle. See Figure 6.
8.
Remove the rear spring shackle retaining bolt. See Figure 7.
