F 350 2WD Super Duty V8-6.4L DSL Turbo (2009)
2. Remove the turbocharger.
3. Remove the upper cooling fan shroud.
4. Remove the starter.
Vehicles with dual generator
5. Remove the secondary generator.
Vehicles with A/C
6. Remove the A/C compressor.
All vehicles
7. Disconnect the windshield washer hose.
8. Disconnect the underhood light electrical connector and pin-type retainers. Position the wiring aside.
9. NOTE: Mark the location of the hinges prior to removing the hood.
With the help of an assistant, disconnect the hood lift rods. Remove the 4 bolts and the hood.
10. Disconnect the crankcase vent oil separator drain tube.
11. Remove the 4 bolts and the crankcase vent oil separator.

Remove and discard the press-in-place gasket.
