F 350 2WD Super Duty V8-6.4L DSL Turbo (2009)
31. NOTICE: Make sure the exhaust downpipe is loose during the raising of the engine or damage to the vehicle may occur.
NOTE: The engine will need kept level in order to remove the oil pan.
Raise the Heavy Duty Floor Crane as needed to get the required lift to remove the oil pan.
32. Support the engine with jackstands or other suitable support devices.
33. Remove the remaining oil pan bolts and position the oil pan to access the oil pickup tube bolts.
34. Remove the bolts for the oil pickup tube and place the tube in the oil pan. Remove the oil pan.

Remove and discard the oil pickup tube O-ring seal.
35. Remove and discard the press-in-place gasket.
Installation
All vehicles
1. Install a new press-in-place gasket for the oil pan.
2. NOTE: Install a new O-ring seal on the oil pickup tube and place the tube in the oil pan.
Position the oil pan and install the pickup tube and 2 bolts.

Tighten to 13 Nm (115 lb-in).
3. Install the oil pan and the 22 bolts.
1. Install the 5 longer oil pan bolts.
2. Install the 17 remaining oil pan bolts.

Tighten to 13 Nm (115 lb-in).
4. Lower the engine.
5. Position back the transmission cooler tubes on the stud and install the nut.

Tighten to 9 Nm (80 lb-in).
