MODIFIED SUSPENSION
If the suspension has been modified, a valve cannot work properly because the spring rate and vehicle ride height have been altered.

If the the suspension has been modified and no valve is present, STOP here, Figure 2.

If the suspension has been modified and a valve is present, perform procedure "A".
STANDARD SUSPENSION
If no linkage is present, but a valve is present, install a new linkage assembly (E8TZ-2C193-A) and a new valve (E8TZ-2B547-B). Refer to procedure
"B" for service details, Figure 2.
If both the linkage and valve are present, proceed to procedure "C".
