Brake Rotor/Disc: Service and Repair
Disc Backing Dust/Mud Shield

Front

Shield-F-250, F-350 4x2
Removal 

1. Remove the front disc brake rotor. See: Brake Rotor/Disc

2. Remove the front disc brake rotor shield.

Remove the front disc brake rotor shield screws, and remove the front disc brake rotor shield.

INSTALLATION 

1. Follow the removal procedure in reverse order.

Rear

Removal 

1. Remove the rear disc brake caliper anchor plate.
2. Remove the hub and rotor.
3. Remove the rear brake shoes and linings.

4. Remove the adapter nuts.
