Disconnect the battery ground cable.

Remove the air cleaner.

| 3. Remove the components in the order indicated in the following illustration(s) and table(s). 1 - EGR valve electrical connector 4. To install, reverse the removal procedure. | | -
Using the setup procedures in WDS Toolbox - powertrain, initialize the EGR valve. | Removal Details Item 2 : Fuel lines | | -
Detach the fuel lines from the fuel line retaining clips. | Item 3 : EGR valve tube to EGR valve clamp | | -
NOTE:Make a note of the position of the EGR valve tube to EGR valve clamp before removal. Remove and discard the old EGR valve tube to EGR valve clamp. | Installation Details Item 4 : EGR valve retaining bolts | | -
Do not tighten the EGR valve retaining bolts at this stage. | Item 3 : EGR valve tube to EGR valve clamp | | -
Install a new EGR valve tube to EGR valve clamp in the same position as when removed. | | | -
Tighten the EGR valve retaining bolts. | |
