6. If equipped, remove the bolt cover.
7. NOTE: Do not disconnect the Intake Air Temperature (IAT) sensor electrical connector.
Remove the ACL from the ACL bracket and the ACL outlet hose.
1. Remove the wiring harness retainer from the ACL by pulling It up.
2. Remove the 2 ACL bolts.
3. Loosen the clamp.
4. Pull up on the ACL to remove it from the 2 rubber grommets and position it aside with the IAT sensor electrical connector still connected.
8. With the IAT sensor connected, rotate the ACL 90 degrees to access the transmission fluid level indicator. Install the ACL in the outlet pipe and
tighten the clamp.

Tighten to 5 Nm (44 lb-in).
9. Remove the transmission fluid level indicator. If the transaxle was removed and disassembled, fill the transaxle with 6.2L (6.5 qt) of clean
transmission fluid. If the main control cover was removed for in-vehicle repair, fill the transaxle with 4.3L (4.5 qt) of clean transmission fluid.
