Route the cable along the front of the radiator support bracket above the headlamp. Use two (2) tie straps (95874-S101) to secure the cable
to the radiator support bracket (Figure 1).
b.
Drill a 3 mm (1/8") hole in the radiator grille and use another tie strap (95874-S101) to secure the cable to the radiator grille (Figure 2).
3.
Connect the cable to the hood latch and tighten the hood latch bolts.
4.
Connect the cable to the instrument panel.
5.
Verify proper hood release cable operation.
6.
Reinstall the battery junction box.
7.
Reinstall the air cleaner.
8.
Reinstall the radiator air deflector.
9.
Reconnect battery.
