Parking Brake Cable: Service and Repair

Removal 

All Vehicles 
1. Release the parking brake.
2. Loosen the rear wheel nuts.
3. Raise and support the vehicle. 
4. Remove the floor console. 

5. Remove the parking brake cable adjustment nut.

Remove the clip.

Remove the adjustment nut.

6. Remove the wheel.

7. CAUTION:  Support the exhaust pipe. Detach the rear muffler.

Remove the nuts.

Unhook the hanger insulators.

8. Detach the center hanger insulators.
