Removal and Installation Removal All Vehicles | -
CAUTION:If brake fluid is spilt on the paintwork, the affected are must be immediately washed down with cold water. Disconnect the electrical connector from the filler cap. - Pull back the tab.
- Depress the clips.
- Disconnect the electrical connector.

CAUTION:Make sure the filler cap does not become contaminated. Remove the brake fluid reservoir filler cap. | | -
Using a suitable clean suction device drain the reservoir. | | -
Install the brake fluid reservoir filler cap. | | -
Detach the central electrical box screw. | | -
Detach the electrical connector clip. | | -
CAUTION:Cap the hose connections to prevent fluid loss or dirt contamination. Disconnect the brake master cylinder feed hose. | Vehicles with manual transaxle | -
CAUTION:Cap the hose connections to prevent fluid loss or dirt contamination. Disconnect the clutch master cylinder feed hose. | All Vehicles | -
Disconnect the brake fluid reservoir wiring harness. | Installation | -
To install, reverse the removal procedure. | |
