Removal and Installation

Special Tool(s)

Remover/Installer, Cooling Hose Clamp 303-397 (24-003)

Removal

All Vehicles
  1. Remove the motor and shroud.
    For additional information, refer to Motor and Shroud in this section.
  1. Drain the cooling system.
    For additional information, refer to Cooling System Draining, Filling and Bleeding in this section.
Vehicles with air conditioning
  1. Detach and support the condenser.
All Vehicles
  1. Using the special tool, disconnect the radiator upper hose.

  1. Using the special tool, disconnect the coolant hoses.

  1. Disconnect the horn electrical connector.

  1. Remove the radiator support bracket bolts.

  1. Remove the radiator support bracket.

  1. Remove the radiator.

Installation
  1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.

  1. Fill the cooling system.
