Removal and Installation

Removal
  1. Remove the gearshift lever cover.
    1. Twist off the gearshift lever knob.
    1. Unclip the cover.
    • Separate/pull off the connectors (number and configuration depends on equipment).

  1. Remove the center console.
    • Remove the rubber and unscrew the bolts.

  1. Remove the shift mechanism.
    1. Detach the shift and selector cable from the gearshift lever.
    1. Remove the shift and selector cables by twisting the abutment collar clockwise.
    1. Unscrew the nuts.

Installation
  1. Refit the components in reverse order.
    1. Fit the shift and selector cables by twisting the abutment collar clockwise.
    1. Fit the shift and selector levers.
    1. Tighten the nuts.
