NOTE:Make a note of the position of the top mount, the top mount bearing alignment marking, the strut alignment marking and the spring seat cut out, to aid assembly. Using the special tools, compress the spring. | | | -
CAUTION:Use an Allen key to prevent the piston rod from rotating. Item 3 : Thrust bearing and spring seat assembly CAUTION:Make sure the thrust bearing and spring seat assembly is correctly seated onto the boot before assembly. Item 1 : Thrust bearing retaining nut CAUTION:Make sure the alignment markings on the top mount and the top mount bearing are aligned with the spring seat cut out and the alignment marking on the strut. |
