Removal and Installation

Removal

All vehicles
  1. Remove the brake fluid reservoir.
    For additional information, refer to Brake Fluid Reservoir — Right-drive vehicles with 2 in this section.
Vehicles with stability assist
  1. Disconnect the brake master cylinder electrical connectors.
All vehicles
  1. CAUTION:
    CAUTION:Cap the brake tubes to prevent fluid loss or dirt ingress.
    Disconnect the brake tubes from the brake master cylinder.

  1. Remove the brake master cylinder.

Installation

  1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
