Auxiliary Heating - Booster Heater Galaxy 2000.75 (04/2000-02/2006)
Disassembly and Assembly

Disassembly

  1. Remove the cooling jacket cover.

  1. Remove the cover from the combustion air blower motor.

  1. Detach overheating sensor and temperature sensor from the cooling jacket.
    • Discard the O-ring seals.

  1. Remove the control unit bolts.

  1. Remove the blower motor cover.

  1. Remove the control unit.
    • Disconnect the internal connector.

  1. Detach the cable from the booster heater connector (flame sensor shown removed for clarity).

  1. Unscrew the cable from the glow plug.

  1. Remove the glow plug.

  1. Remove the flame sensor.

  1. Remove the combustion air blower motor.
    • Discard the gasket.

  1. Remove the burner chamber.
    • Discard the gasket.

  1. Remove the heat exchanger using a suitable screwdriver.
    • Discard the O-ring seal.

Assembly

  1. NOTE:
    NOTE:Install new O-rings and gaskets.
    NOTE:
    NOTE:Coat the O-ring seals with clean coolant prior to installation.
    Assemble the components in the reverse order.
