Removal and Installation

Removal

  1. Remove the wheel and tire. For additional information, refer toSection 204-04 Wheels and Tires.
NOTE:
NOTE:It may be necessary to hold the ball joint stud to keep it from turning while removing the nut.
  1. Separate the upper arm from the wheel knuckle.
    • Remove the upper ball joint nut.

  1. Remove the upper arm.
    1. Remove the upper arm inner bolt.
    1. Remove the upper arm.
  1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
