Removal and Installation

Removal

  1. Remove the rear wheel cylinder. For additional information, refer to Wheel Cylinder in this section.
  1. Remove the rear wheel hub. For additional information, refer to Rear Wheel Bearing inSection 204-02 Rear Suspension

  1. Remove the parking brake cable from the brake backing plate.
    1. Remove the bolt.
    1. Remove the parking brake cable.

  1. Remove the brake backing plate.
    1. Remove the bolts.
    1. Remove the brake backing plate.
  1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
