Removal and Installation

Removal

NOTE:
NOTE:LHD shown, RHD similar.
  1. Disconnect the battery ground cable. For additional information, refer toSection 414-01 Battery, Mounting and Cables.

  1. Remove the upper steering column shroud.

  1. Remove the lower steering column shroud.
  1. Turn the ignition key to the ON position.

  1. Using a small tool, depress the ignition lock cylinder release button and pull the ignition lock cylinder out.
  1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
