Feeler Gauge Set

303-D027 (D81L-4201-A) or equivalent

Straight Edge

303-D039 (D83L-4201-A) or equivalent

Clean the exhaust manifold using a suitable solvent. Inspect the manifold for cracks or broken flanges.

Place a straight edge across the exhaust manifold flanges and check for warping with a feeler gauge.
