In-vehicle Repair

Removal and Installation

  1. With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. For additional information, refer to Section 100-02 Jacking and Lifting.
  1. Remove the transmission. For additional information, refer to Section 307-01 Automatic Transmission/Transaxle.
  1. Remove the bolts and the flexplate.
    • To install, tighten to 80 Nm (59 lb-ft).
  1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
