CMP O-ring
Removal and Installation
Disconnect the battery ground cable. For additional information, refer to Section
414-01 Battery, Mounting and Cables
.
Disconnect the camshaft position sensor (CMP) sensor electrical connector.
Remove the bolt and the CMP.
To install, tighten to 7 Nm (62 lb-in).
Inspect the O-ring seal and install new as necessary.
NOTE:
Lubricate the CMP O-ring seal with clean engine oil.
To install, reverse the removal procedure.
