Removal and Installation

Removal and Installation

  1. Remove the front door trim panel. For additional information, refer to Section 501-05 Interior Trim and Ornamentation.
  1. Position the watershield aside.

  1. CAUTION:
    CAUTION:The front door moulding retainer clips must be collapsed from inside the door. Failure to do so may result in damage to the vehicle.
    NOTE:
    NOTE:The new front door moulding retainer clips are one-time use only. New clips must be used during installation.
    Collapse the door moulding retainer clips.

  1. NOTE:
    NOTE:Use a wedge type tool to add tension to assist in the removal of the door moulding.
    Remove the front door moulding.
  1. NOTE:
    NOTE:The door moulding will snap into position when installed.
    To install, reverse the removal procedure.
