Removal and Installation

Removal and Installation

  1. Remove the hood latch. For additional information, refer to Hood Latch in this section.

  1. Remove the 3 hood latch release handle cable locators.
  1. Remove the 2 hood latch release handle screws.
    • To install, tighten to 15 Nm (11 lb-ft).
  1. NOTE:
    NOTE:The hood latch release handle and cable assembly must be pulled through the dash panel into the passenger compartment.
    Remove the hood latch release handle and cable assembly.
  1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
