Remove the video system retaining bracket (if equipped).

| 2. Disassemble the components in the order indicated in the following illustration(s) and table(s). 3. To assemble, reverse the disassembly procedure. Disassembly Details Item 1 : Cushion fans housing | | -
Remove the cushion fans housing. - Using a suitable electric hand drill, remove the rivets.
- Release the retaining tangs.

Remove the cushion fans housing gasket. | Item 2 : Cushion fans | | -
CAUTION:Note the position of the fans and wiring harnesses, to aid installation. Remove the cushion fans. - Remove the retaining screws.
- Remove the fans.
| Item 3 : Cushion base | | -
Detach the cushion cover from the underside of the seat. - Detach the retaining strip.
| Item 4 : Cushion cover | | -
CAUTION:When removing the cushion cover take care not to damage the cover or retaining clips. Remove the cushion cover. - Roll the cushion cover inwards to access the retaining clips and hog rings.
- Detach the cushion cover from the retaining clips.
- Cut the hog rings.
| Item 5 : Heater mat | | -
CAUTION:When detaching the heater mat take care not to damage the cushion pad. Detach the heater mat from the cushion pad. | | | -
Remove the heater mat. - Detach the heated seat module from the cushion pad.
- Pull the wiring harness and heated seat module through the hole in the cushion pad.

NOTE:Note the position of the cushion upper ventilation mats, to aid installation. Detach the hook loop tape. | Item 7 : Cushion lower ventilation mat trim cover CAUTION:When removing the cushion lower ventilation mat trim cover take care not to damage the cushion pad. Item 8 : Cushion lower ventilation mat NOTE:Note the position of the cushion lower ventilation mat, to aid installation. Assembly Details Item 8 : Cushion lower ventilation mat | | -
NOTE:Make sure that the cushion lower ventilation mat is correctly aligned. Install the cushion lower ventilation mat. | Item 7 : Cushion lower ventilation mat trim cover | | -
Install the cushion lower ventilation mat trim cover. - Apply suitable adhesive to the areas shown.
| Item 5 : Heater mat | | -
Install the heater mat wiring harness and heated seat module. - Pull the wiring harness and heated seat module through the hole in the cushion pad.
- Attach the heated seat module to the cushion pad.

Install the heater mat. - Apply suitable adhesive to the areas shown.
| Item 4 : Cushion cover | | -
NOTE:Use hog ring pliers to close the hog rings. Do not use any other tool. The hog rings must be closed to overlap as illustrated. | Item 1 : Cushion fans housing | | -
Install the cushion fans housing gasket. | | | -
Install the cushion fans housing. - Attach the retaining tangs.
- Using a blind rivet gun-hand, install new rivets.
