WARNING:Note the position of the wiring harnesses, to aid installation. An incorrectly routed wiring harness could become damaged when the seat is moved. Failure to follow this instruction may result in personal injury. Remove the Front Seat. For additional information, refer to Front Seat in this section. | 2. Remove the components in the order indicated in the following illustration(s) and table(s). 1 - Backrest recliner handwheel 3. To install, reverse the removal procedure. Removal Details Item 2 : Outer side trim panel | | -
Detach the rear end of the outer side trim panel from the seat track. | | | -
Detach the outer side trim panel upper retaining tang from the seat track. - Lift the rear of the trim panel 5 cm.

Disconnect the power seat control switch electrical connector (if equipped). | | | -
Remove the outer side trim panel. - Detach the retaining clip from the seat base.
- Release the locking tangs.
| Item 3 : Climate controlled seat module | | -
Remove the climate controlled seat module. - Disconnect the electrical connector.
- Cut the cable tie.
| Item 4 : Backrest wiring harnesses | | -
Detach the backrest wiring harnesses from the seat base. | | | -
Disconnect the backrest heater mat and climate controlled seat backrest fans electrical connectors. | | | -
Disconnect the video system electrical connector (if equipped). - Detach the electrical connector from the seat base.
- Disconnect the electrical connector.
| Item 5 : Cushion wiring harnesses | | -
Disconnect the cushion heater mat and climate controlled seat cushion fans electrical connectors. | | | -
Detach the seat height adjust motor electrical connector from the seat base (if equipped). | Item 7 : Cushion | | -
Detach the underseat electrical connector housing from the seat base. | |
