Removal and Installation

Removal

All vehicles
  1. Remove the front seat.
    For additional information, refer to Front Seat in this section.
Driver and passenger seat
  1. Detach the cushion heater mat electrical connector (if equipped).
    • Cut the cable tie.
    • Disconnect the electrical connector.

  1. Detach the video system electrical connector (if equipped).
  1. Adjust the backrest to the fully upright position.
Passenger seat
  1. Disconnect the occupant classification sensor or belt minder sensor electrical connector.
Driver and passenger seat
  1. Remove the seat electrical connector mounting bracket.
    1. Detach the underseat connector from the underside of the seat.
    1. Drill out the rivets.

  1. Remove the front seat cushion.
    1. Disconnect the seat height adjust motor electrical connector.
    1. Detach the wiring harness retaining clips.
    1. Remove the nuts.

Installation

  1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
